Lose someone, Gain something

Wow what a title, probably the first thing that would cross someone’s mind is a love story of losing someone and then gaining something.  

But then here’s the real story. If I remember correctly, it was March 2012 during a family reunion. I felt so happy at that time, seeing my relatives that I haven’t seen for a long time. There were lots of food, drinks, chatting and having fun.

And then a text message from my friends suddenly hit me. I thought that it was an April fool’s joke because April 1 is fast approaching at that time, but then they told me that it is damn real. I don’t know what to say, I just said it in Japanese to my Japanese cousins at that time in the reunion. (more…)
